About Collaborative Practice Golden Gate
Collaborative Practice Golden Gate is a group of Bay Area professionals committed to resolving conflicts without court battles or power struggles.
We are a multi-disciplinary group of licensed professionals trained in consensual (i.e., non-adversarial) resolution of divorces, and also the collaborative creation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
We are not a firm; all of our professionals have independent practices, but because we often work together and train together, we have developed a sense of trust and integrity among us that serves our clients well.
Although we are primarily located in Marin, Sonoma and San Francisco Counties, our members include professionals from throughout the San Francisco Bay Area who are available to work together regardless of county.
Our Services:
Collaborative Divorce: Our members are highly trained, experienced professionals committed to the Collaborative Divorce process, an approach in which clients and interdisciplinary professionals work together, respectfully and in good faith, to gather information and to reach mutually agreeable solutions. The goal is a win/win situation for all.
Mediation: If after reviewing the options that you have for resolving a divorce (see https://bayareamediationandcollaborativedivorce.com/ and https://collaborativedivorcegoldengate.org/divorce-options-workshop/ ), you decide to choose mediation, our members are an excellent choice for you, because being trained and experienced in mediation is required for membership in CPNB. Our members are highly qualified to serve as your mediator, as your consulting attorney, and as interdisciplinary members of your mediation team.
Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements: The Collaborative Divorce and mediation processes are tailor-made for drafting these agreements because the agreements are created by the clients together more as a planning process than an adversarial one. Again, our members are an excellent choice to help you create your agreement, as all are skilled in interest-based Collaborative negotiation that takes both parties’ concerns and goals into account.
